Hello Students,
First let me say, I really do miss you. I have been
bragging to all of the scholars around me this week about how smart and brave
you guys are. They all complain about how their students never talk, which make
me feel really grateful that you are all so bold and willing to share your
thoughts with me in class.
I couldn’t get imovie to create a video the way I wanted it
to so you are just going to have to miss my face. :) I haven’t received any
questions about Rule of Three or PIE so I won’t spend time on those two things.
I have posted the handouts on both topics just in case you don’t have it. Read
them over if you are confused.
I know you are writing your essays and many of you are
searching for possible solutions to our failing education system. I have lined
up 3 powerful videos that each feature different types of solutions. You may
quote these videos in your paper. I expect you to watch them before our next
class. They are all really short and each in their own way inspiring. Please come
to our next class ready to discuss them.
Remember that you can always email me if you have any
questions or would like me to look over anything. I may not get back to you
instantly but I will try to get back to you soon. Please have your draft up
tomorrow so I can give you comments on it and help you turn your draft into
your final essay.
